Magnum Aqua Walker

The Magnum Aqua Walker is based on the proven Magnum 20m Horse Walker so offers the reliability and ease of use like it's predecessor.

Twenty five years in the equine industry has given Magnum a good grounding for what works when it comes to designing and building horse walkers and the aqua walker is not different.

The entrance ramp to the walker has been ergonomically designed for both the horse and the carer. Horse's that have never been in water before find the transition from the large rubber standing pad to the non slip water filled ramp effortless and most will be comfortable with this change after only a few uses.

One of the unique features of the Magnum Aqua Walker is that it uses a lot less water than some of the other Aqua Walkers on the market, so cheaper initial start up and all-round running costs, which is vital in today's market.

The Magnum Aqua Walker has been designed to cater for up to eight horses at once to utilise your time and space to the maximum. The Aqua Walker has also been designed with horse safety paramount, unique rubber lined hinged gates, wallsand a non slip floor offer peace of mind in your investment.

Magnum Aqua Walker Specs

Construction:  Reinforce concrete construction 2400 wide channel and ramp built as per
Magnum design to fit horse walker.
1100mm water level and 1250 wall height. The surface of the walls will be in
solid plaster .

Screen & Filtration:130,000ltrs of water per hour will be taken out of the Aqua Walker via 3 x
Concrete Suction Points then pump to a stainless steel screen which will pre filter the water down.
From there the water will be pumped through 4 x 1.2 diameter Sand Filter
Tanks. The filtration & Screen will be all set up on a concrete pad ready
for a shed to be built over. Shed pad – 5.5m x 4m (minimum size)

Baffles: The Aqua Walker comes with Magnaclad baffles. This is designed to reduce the whirlpool effect with great effect.

Vacuum System: One mobile 2.2kw single phase pump will fit on trolley and be set up to
Vacuum from 2 points around the pool.

Maintenance:The filtration system is designed to run 24/7. Chlorine level to be kept at 2ppm.
Check water balance on a daily basis, we supply a test kit and handover pack
to start up the aqua walker. We strongly suggest the Aqua Walker be totally
emptied after a 4 month period and new water be put in. After 4 months the
media in the filters will need to be replaced. On a daily basis the sand filters will
need to be backwashed. The waste water after backwashing we suggest
should go into 2 tanks and be gravity fed to the pool or waste to storm water
once settling has taken place. We suggest cleaning the backwash tanks on a
regular basis.

The Aqua Walker will need to be vacuumed on a regular basis to keep water
quality at its best.

NOTE: With a large number of horses per day using the Aqua Walker the water quality will be maintained but the clarity of the water will vary
depending on loading and the available ‘horse-free’ filtering time. The
longer the better.

Horse Cleanliness: It will be in the best interest of the water clarity to do everything possible
to assist the cleaning of horses and removal of hair is a must. A foot bath
will also help.
